Proposal
I'm pursuing a PhD in Management (with a speciality in economic sociology) at the MIT Sloan School of Management and I am looking for a company to collaborate with on my dissertation. If you would like a social scientist to help you understand your data, we may be a good match! My aim is to use data to tell a compelling story about what makes people tick. I am a social scientist by training and I have more than five years of experience working with cutting-edge methods in quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. My most recent research project explores how social media influencers balance the tension between building communities and monetizing them. The ideal company partner will: 1. Be an active partner in defining the research question and scope of the project. 2. Provide access to key employees and other stakeholders as necessary so that I can understand your company and industry. 3. Already be in possession of quantitative and/or qualitative data to be analyzed, or be interested in collecting such data. Feel free to get in touch to discuss how me might collaborate.
