With the increasing maturity, sophistication and interoperability of the Internet-of-Things (IOT), marketers can create digital experiences in the physical world. Information is no longer dependent on a single device and location, but can flow freely. As a marketer, we can let the consumer interact with the real world and still be able to expand the experience across a plethora of channels. Why not removing the consumer from screens, and let him or her interact with your product without sacrificing the possibilty to extend reality into the domain of social media and the like.
