Master in Agricultural Economics
We are two master students at University of Copenhagen studying Agricultural Economics. Agricultural Economics is a master in applied econometrics and development economics focusing on food production and sustainability. In the Spring 2020 we are going to write our master thesis and are currently looking for ideas and inspiration.
We are still in the first stage of looking at possibilities and ideas for our thesis topic and are, therefore, open for almost everything as long as it includes the possibility to process and analyse quantitative data. Our areas of interests are broad, but we are very interested in doing a project in collaboration with an organization focusing on sustainable production and climate change, and how this affects the agricultural production and the food security in the future. One idea we considered is looking at the tradeoff between sustainable farming practices, food security, and businesses that invest in smaller productions and agribusinesses.
If you have any future projects that fits our interests, some data you need analyzed, or any good ideas that you would like us to investigate for you, we would love to hear from you.
